PRASA has been making headlines on fraud and nepotism allegations – train signalling contracts & train repairs.

An investigation was launched based on the allegations made and it was discovered that the contract was awarded to a close family member of the contractors who bagged a huge sum of money and on the one hand there 7.5 million that was allocated for repairs of the decrepit trains but they are still occupying the depots.
