Police recover VW Polo of three dead police officers

The Volkswagen Polo hatchback registered as JCL 401 FS, in which the three constables from Bloemfontein in the Free State were traveling in has been found.
This follows the tragic and mysterious death of three members of the South African Police Service whose bodies were pulled from the Hennops River in Centurion.
According to Police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, the three officers were traveling from Bloemfontein to their deployment area in Limpopo.
Cebekhulu Linda (24), Keamogetswe Buys (30), and Boipelo Senoge (20) disappeared on Wednesday, 23 April. They are three of five bodies that were recovered from the river following a two-day intensive search led by the SAPS and Tshwane Metro divers.

Mathe said along with the Free State constables was a Lyttelton police station employee who was driving a Renault Kangoo van and says the fifth decomposed body is still unidentified.
National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola on 1 May during a media briefing mentioned that the car was retrieved where the SAPS search and rescue team initially suspected it would be.
"The river had been swollen due to a blockage downstream, but once that was cleared, water levels dropped, and the car was located.”
Investigators further retrieved small personal belongings including a white handbag, believed to belong to Senoge as her ID card and driver's license were found inside the handbag.
According to reports, the bereaved families are set to travel to Pretoria to collect the remains of their loved ones and will also meet with the Free State Premier, Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae who extended her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
Investigations into the tragedy are still ongoing.
